The Magic in 3 Steps
Take a photo of any drawing using your camera, or pick one from your gallery. You can crop, rotate, or flip the image to get it just right.
Tap the Animate button and our AI goes to work! It analyzes your drawing, figures out what's in it, and creates a short animated video that brings your artwork to life.
Watch the magic happen! Save your animated video to your gallery or share it directly with friends and family.
Understanding Credits
Welcome Credits
When you first install DoodleLife, you receive 3 free credits to try out the app. These let you animate 3 drawings right away!
Daily Free Credit
Once you've used all your credits, you'll receive 1 free credit each day at midnight (local time). This daily credit is available when you have 0 credits remaining and doesn't stack—use it or it resets the next day.
Purchased Credits
Want more? Purchase credit packs to animate as many drawings as you like. Purchased credits never expire and come with premium benefits:
- No watermark on your animations
- Priority processing for faster results
- Future premium features as we add them
When Are Credits Used?
Good news! Your credit is only deducted when the animation completes successfully and you tap to play it. If something goes wrong during generation, you won't lose a credit.
This means you can tap Animate with confidence—if there's an issue during generation, just try again without worrying about lost credits.

Tips for Best Results
- Use clear, simple drawings. Bold lines and distinct shapes work best. The software loves recognizable subjects like animals, people, and objects.
- Good lighting matters. When photographing, avoid shadows and ensure even lighting across the drawing.
- Crop out distractions. Use the edit feature to remove table edges, fingers, or other items that aren't part of the drawing.
- Simpler is often better. Drawings with 1-3 main subjects tend to animate more smoothly than very complex scenes.
- Embrace the magic! Interpretation can be surprising—sometimes the unexpected results are the most delightful.
Important Notes
- Credits are stored on your device. If you uninstall the app, your credits will be lost. We recommend using your credits before removing the app.
- Results may vary. Animation results will always be different—the same drawing will produce a different animation each time and the perceived quality will vary. This is a feature of the technology.
- Processing takes time. Depending on server load, animations typically take 2-5 minutes to generate.
